“Christ is the reason we are now at peace. He made us Jews and you who are not Jews one people. We were separated by a wall of hate that stood between us, but Christ broke down that wall. By giving up His own body on the cross, Christ ended the law with its many commands and rules. His purpose was to make the two groups become one new man in Him. By doing this He would make peace. Through the cross Christ ended the hate between the two groups. And after they became one Body, He wanted to bring them both back to God. He did this with His death on the cross. Christ came and brought the message of peace to you non-Jews who were far away from God. And He brought that message of peace to those who were near to God. Yes, through Christ we all have the right to come to the Father in one Spirit. So now you non-Jewish people are not visitors or strangers, but you are citizens together with God’s holy people. You belong to God’s family. You believers are like a building that God owns. That building was built on the foundation that the apostles and prophets prepared. Christ Jesus Himself is the cornerstone in that building.” Ephesians 2:14-20
Recently, a Deaf brother in England put up a vlog about the problem of Deaf and Hearing meeting together in church. Problem is what? Hearing tend to push aside Deaf or fail communicate with Deaf Christians. So result many Deaf not want to go to church meeting with Hearing. But did you know that Jesus Christ solved that problem already? What? Surprised? How we know this? Read Ephesians 2:14-20 . It says that Jesus is our Peace! He made peace for us on the cross. He makes peace between the Jews and the non-Jews. What did He Jesus do on the cross? He killed and destroyed the hate between the Jews and non-Jews. He makes them become one New Man. He makes peace between these two kinds of people. The Jews have their laws and rules of living, language and culture different than non-Jews. That different law and rules of living, language and culture is like a big wall that separate the Jews from the non-Jewish people. That wall is called hate. On the cross Jesus break down that wall of hate between Jews and non-Jews. Now in the church both Jewish Christians and non-Jewish Christians are united become one together, no more hate. In same way, on the cross Jesus destroy the hate between Deaf and Hearing. Deaf and Hearing have big high wall that separate us from each other. This wall is called hate. But hallelujah! Jesus Christ on the cross destroyed this wall that separates us. Jesus made both Deaf and Hearing into unity, one together as New Man. Jesus is our Peace! He also is our Cornerstone! What is a cornerstone? It is a special stone used to join together two walls in a building made of stone. The two walls become join together how? Through the cornerstone. This cornerstone joins the two different walls of the building together make them one building. God’s House is the church and in the church there are many Christians who are different, for example, Deaf and Hearing, but Jesus as our Cornerstone joins us together make us God’s House, the church. On the cross Jesus destroyed the wall of hate between different people and He also join different people together make them one church, God’s House. Hallelujah! What does this mean? We must by faith accept Jesus Christ as our Peace and our Cornerstone. Through prayer we tell the Lord Jesus, “Thank You, Lord Jesus, You are my Peace. Thank You on the cross You destroyed the wall of hate. You joined us together make us one Body, one Church. Lord Jesus, please become the Cornerstone in my heart so I can accept other Christians not matter Deaf or Hearing, not matter if they not understand me but in You we have Peace and in You we are joined in Spirit. Thank You, Lord Jesus, Amen” Welcome! We hope this website will be a help to you in your personal Christian life and group church life. As Christian we need to be grouped together for the building up of Christ's Body, the Church.
Did you know that Christ is a Rock that flows out living water? He was the Rock that was split in two and was struck for us! Out from Him flow living water to satisfy our spiritual thirst. In Exodus 17:1-8 Moses was told by God to hit the Rock then water will flow out of it. Later in Numbers 20, Moses was told by God to SPEAK to the same Rock. Because the children of Israel complain and complain that they were thirsty so much, Moses got angry with them and he hit the Rock two times in anger. God was not happy that Moses did not obey Him. God told him to SPEAK to the Rock and ASK it to give them water. Instead Moses lost his temper and hit it twice! God was not angry with children of Israel, God was merciful and care about them. God want to give them living water for their thirsty satisfy. Moses not show to them God is merciful and care about them instead he lose temper get mad at them. Because of Moses' mistake God punish him. How? by not allowing Moses to enter the land of Canaan, the land God promised to Israel. Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross one time only (Hebrews 7:27). Bible tells us that He does not need crucified again on the cross (Hebrews 6:6; 7:27). When the soldier pierced Jesus' side with his spear: blood and water come out of Jesus' side. Jesus' blood cleanses us from our sins. The water from Jesus' side is give God's life for us to drink. How? God's Spirit is like living water for us to drink. Hallelujah! Today, we can just simple PRAY and ASK Jesus to give us Himself as living water (John 7:37-39). Jesus wants us to come to Him and drink this living water. It is easy we just simple pray and ask Him for it. "Lord Jesus! Thank you for today! Give me living water today! Thank you I can come to You and drink! Amen!" Grace to you all. |
